Mumbai Police Arrest Telangana Man for Sending Threat Emails to Mukesh Ambani

In a recent development, the Mumbai Police have arrested a 19-year-old individual from Telangana for sending multiple threat emails to Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries. The accused, identified as Ganesh Ramesh Vanpardhi, allegedly used the alias “Shadab Khan” in the emails.

The threats initially demanded a ransom of Rs 20 crore, which was later increased to Rs 400 crore in a series of emails. The first email, sent on October 27 by someone using the name Shadab Khan, reportedly contained a threat to Ambani’s life, stating, “If you (Ambani) do not give us Rs 20 crore, we will kill you, we have the best shooters in India.”

The accused is now in police custody until November 8.
