MBT Spokesperson Amjed Ullah Khan Files Nomination for Telangana Polls

Hyderabad : Amjed Ullah Khan, the spokesperson for Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT), officially submitted his nomination for the upcoming Telangana polls from the Yakutpura Assembly Constituency on Friday.

The party’s announcement of Khan’s candidature came on Thursday, leading to the filing of nomination papers around noon at the office of the returning officer.

In a statement to the press, Khan expressed the significance of the responsibility bestowed upon him and pledged to work tirelessly for the betterment and development of his constituency if elected. Having previously served as the ex-corporator of the Azampura GHMC division, Khan brings valuable experience to his candidacy.

The political landscape in Yakutpura Assembly Constituency intensifies as Khan, the son of the late five-time MLA Ammanullah Khan, gears up to face competition from All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) candidate Jaffer Hussain Meraj. Meraj currently holds the position of the sitting MLA from the Nampally Assembly constituency. The upcoming polls promise a dynamic electoral contest in the region.
