Hyderabad : In a significant development, Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, triumphant as the MLA from Nalgonda Assembly, has secured a position in the cabinet. Taking charge on Sunday, he officially assumed the responsibilities of a Minister with portfolios in cinematography and Roads & Buildings (R&B).
The inauguration ceremony took place in his chamber at the Secretariat, marked by the auspicious presence and blessings of Vedic scholars. Expressing gratitude to CM Revanth Reddy for entrusting him with ministerial responsibilities, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy outlined his immediate actions, noting the signing of several important files.
Rajagopal Reddy, the brother of Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, won as the Congress candidate from Munugodu and attended the ceremony where Komatireddy Venkat Reddy assumed ministerial responsibilities.
