In a shocking incident today, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the president of Karni Sena, was fatally shot in Jaipur’s Shyam Nagar area. Initial reports indicate that four assailants entered Gogamedi’s residence, opening fire and leaving him dead. Tragically, a member of Gogamedi’s security detail and another individual were injured during the attack, as confirmed by Rajasthan Director General of Police Umesh Mishra.
Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph revealed that Gogamedi was swiftly transported to a private hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. CCTV footage obtained by news agency PTI depicts two men firing multiple shots at Gogamedi and a companion near the entrance of his residence.
