Karimnagar: In a recent development related to election transfers, the Collector, Dr. B Gopi, and the Commissioner of Police, L Subbarayudu, have been reassigned to new roles.
On Friday, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari issued official orders for the transfer of both the Collector and the Commissioner of Police. According to the orders, they have been directed to report to the General Administration Department.
Dr. B Gopi, who assumed office as Collector on July 26 earlier this year, and Commissioner L Subbarayudu, who took charge of the Karimnagar police commissionerate in January 2023, have now been moved to different responsibilities as part of this administrative reorganization.
