Khammam : – Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has called for a political alliance in support of Sonia Gandhi, urging parties with an affinity for Telangana not to contest against her in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Speaking at his native village, Snanala Lakshmipuram of Wyra mandal in the district, Deputy CM Bhatti expressed disappointment that despite allegations by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah about the Kaleshwaram project being misused by the BRS party, no concrete action had been taken.

He claimed that the Central government’s indifference towards the Kaleshwaram issue was due to an understanding between the BJP and the BRS. Bhatti challenged BJP leaders demanding a CBI inquiry to address the matter with their central leadership.

In response to concerns about the impartiality of a CBI investigation, Bhatti revealed that the State government is considering an inquiry by a sitting judge into the Kaleshwaram issue.

Despite this, he criticized Telangana BJP leaders for making irresponsible comments on the matter. Bhatti disclosed that a report on irregularities in Mission Bhagiratha is being prepared and will be released soon.

Additionally, Bhatti informed that the government is contemplating strengthening government universities and introducing professional courses to help students face global competition. Plans are underway to establish skill development universities in every district to address the challenges posed by globalization.
