IMD Hyderabad Predicts Consistent Weather Pattern for the Next Four Days

Hyderabad, September 10, 2023* – A torrential downpour, coupled with intense thundershowers and lightning, drenched various parts of Hyderabad on Sunday evening, leaving city residents bracing for continuous light rainfall throughout the day.

Notably, Musheerabad and Golconda emerged as the wettest spots in the city, with precipitation reaching 43 mm. Saroornagar followed closely with 40 mm of rainfall, while Serilingampally recorded 38 mm.

Several other areas, including Khairatabad, Lakdi-ka-pul, Kukatpally, Uppal, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Koti, Sultan Bazar, LB Nagar, Malakpet, and Dilsukhnagar, among others, also witnessed rainfall exceeding 20 mm.

The day was marked by overcast skies and a maximum temperature of 28.4 degrees Celsius. The forecast for the next four days indicates that the temperature will remain in the range of 27-28 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) – Hyderabad anticipates a similar weather pattern in the upcoming four days.

Meanwhile, in Telangana, districts such as Ranga Reddy, Sangareddy, Wanaparthy, Nalgonda, Siddipet, Yadari Bhongir, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Medak, Siddipet, Jagtial, Adilabad, Mancherial, and others experienced moderate to heavy showers.

Among them, Kangti and Sigarpoor in Sangareddy received the highest rainfall, recording 60 mm and 51.3 mm, respectively. The state is expected to witness moderate to heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls until September 14.
