- December 30, 2023: A female passenger arriving from Dubai was apprehended with 14 gold bars weighing 1632 grams, valued at Rs.1.03 Crore, concealed within her inner garments. This operation alone accounted for a significant haul.
- December 31, 2023 (First Instance): Two separate female passengers from Dubai were intercepted, resulting in the recovery of 16 gold bars made of 24kt gold. The total weight amounted to 1865.2 grams, with a staggering value of Rs.1.18 Crore. Customs officials successfully thwarted this attempt.
- December 31, 2023 (Second Instance): Another passenger from Dubai was caught smuggling two 24kt gold chains weighing 1100 grams, valued at Rs.69.85 lakhs. The vigilant Hyderabad Customs acted swiftly to seize the illicit gold chains.
