Hyderabad : Former Chief Minister of Telangana, Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao, (KCR) is expected to be discharged from the private hospital where he underwent surgery for a broken hip bone. After being admitted due to the injury sustained from a fall in the bathroom at Erravalli Farmhouse, the medical team at Somajiguda Yashoda Hospital conducted successful surgery and monitored his recovery.
Following the surgery, a team of doctors assessing KCR’s health condition has deemed him fit for discharge, scheduled for tomorrow (Friday). Post-discharge, he is anticipated to return to his former residence in Nandininagar, Banjara Hills.
This health development follows KCR’s shift from Pragathi Bhavan to Erravalli Farmhouse after the Telangana election results. The incident occurred last Thursday night, prompting swift action by his family to rush him to the hospital, where diagnostic tests confirmed the broken hip bone.
Doctors overseeing his case have estimated a recovery period of 6-8 weeks for K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Concurrently, his staff has completed security arrangements at his Nandininagar residence in preparation for his return.
