Former Member of the Legislative Council (MLC), R. Ananda Bhaskar, has raised serious concerns, alleging a conspiracy aimed at transforming Hyderabad into a Union Territory. Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi, Bhaskar asserted his determination to spearhead a movement against any such attempts.

Following his resignation from the Bharatiya Rashtriya Samithi (BRS) on Saturday, Bhaskar emphasized his intention to bring this issue to the attention of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao. Bhaskar, who shifted alliances from Congress to BJP before joining BRS, clarified that his departure was due to limited options, refraining from announcing his next political move.

Expressing appreciation for the administration led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Bhaskar commended the government’s efforts, particularly in advancing the caste census initiative. He pledged active involvement in public movements moving forward.

Simultaneously, former chairman of Vijaya Dairy, Loka Bhumareddy, tendered his resignation from BRS and switched allegiance to the Congress in a ceremony attended by Revanth Reddy. Bhumareddy, who served as the chairman of Telangana State Dairy Development Cooperative Federation, highlighted his five-year tenure at Vijaya Dairy post the formation of Telangana.
