The incident unfolded in an 8-storey building located near the iconic clock tower in Secunderabad around 8 pm on Wednesday. Promptly responding to the emergency, the fire brigade arrived on the scene and effectively brought the fire under control, as confirmed by the police.
Market Sub Inspector Laxmaiah provided insight into the incident, stating, “The fire is suspected to have originated from a short circuit within the basement of an 8-storey building near the clock tower in Secunderabad. Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties, and the fire is now fully under control.”
