A significant step toward enhancing road safety and promoting responsible driving was taken today through a road safety traffic awareness program organized at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering & Technology, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

Mr. Shankar Raju Assistant Commissioner of Police Traffic Training Institute Begumpet, spearheaded an extensive session that illuminated the paramount importance of adhering to traffic rules and the critical need to uphold road safety standards.

The program focused on educating participants about vital aspects of road safety, Emphasizing the significance of disciplined behavior on the road, the program shed light on the potential hazards associated with reckless driving.  

Key topics such as safe mobile phone usage while driving, respecting stop lines, avoiding jaywalking, promoting tribal riding awareness, and adhering to proper vehicle lane usage were addressed.Mr. J. Shankar Raju, ACP, provided invaluable insights into road safety practices and offered clarity on essential traffic regulations that every responsible driver should be well-informed about.

 The session particularly underscored the severe consequences of reckless driving, especially among young drivers, emphasizing its direct impact on personal health, lives, and property.

The event drew an impressive turnout, with students and staff members from Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology participating actively.

Eminent speakers stressed the necessity of spreading road safety awareness, urging participants to actively educate their peers and eliminate any doubts surrounding traffic regulations.

The program also delved into the prohibition of minors operating vehicles, advocating for a culture of responsible driving practices.

 It stressed the significance of obtaining vital documents such as fitness certificates, insurance, and pollution certificates for vehicles, underscoring the responsibility that comes with driving. Notable dignitaries present at the event included Panjagutta RSI Y. Ashok Kumar, Begumpet TTI Staff ASI Syed Viqaruddin, Krishna, Narendra, Dr. Mahipal Singh Rawath (Principal of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering), Dean Dr. Syed Ferhathullah Hussainy, Professor Head Dr. Md.
