Hyderabad :- In the aftermath of the Telangana Assembly elections where the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) faced defeat, and the Congress emerged victorious, a significant “Democratic Victory Meeting” took place in Secunderabad’s Addagutta area. Professor Kodandaram, a respected figure in the political landscape, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Reflecting on the election outcome, where the BRS had to concede to defeat, and the Congress successfully formed its government in Telangana, the meeting served as a platform for introspection and celebration. Addressing the gathering, Professor Kodandaram characterized the governance under the BRS as akin to dictatorship and contrasted it with the democratic values exemplified by the victorious Congress.
Acknowledging the success of the Congress in forming the government, Kodandaram commended the triumph as a “Democratic Victory.” In his address, he emphasized the significance of democratic principles and their alignment with the will of the people. The meeting aimed to mark this transition from what was perceived as a dictatorial regime to the democratic governance promised by the newly established Congress government in Telangana.
This gathering provided a space for reflection on the recent political developments and set the tone for the democratic aspirations of the region under the new government.
