Hyderabad, Oct -1-23 : The Directorate of Public Health and Family Welfare, along with the Telangana Vaidya Vidhan Parishad (TVVP), is set to conduct counseling sessions for Post Graduate qualified Civil Assistant Surgeons (CAS). These sessions are aimed at CAS specialists across various specialties who express their interest in serving in the teaching hospitals under the purview of the Director of Medical Education (DME). The counseling sessions are scheduled to commence on October 3.

The comprehensive list, comprising nearly 300 CAS specialists, who have indicated their willingness to join the DME, has been made accessible on the official website, www.dme.telangana.gov.in.

The counseling sessions, scheduled between 11 am and 1 pm, will cater to specialists in a range of medical fields, including general medicine, general surgery, radio-diagnostics, pulmonary medicine, ENT, orthopedics, psychiatry, radiotherapy, forensic medicine, nephrology, and plastic surgery.

This initiative aims to streamline the integration of highly skilled CAS specialists into the teaching hospitals under the Director of Medical Education, thereby enhancing the quality of healthcare services in the region. The announcement signifies a significant step forward in the healthcare sector of Telangana.
