Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge launched a scathing attack on the ruling BRS party in Telangana and the BJP at the Centre, accusing them of fostering economic disparities. Kharge emphasized that the Congress’s six guarantees for the state are designed to promote social justice and economic empowerment.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, Kharge asserted, “Congress party’s six guarantees for Telangana are aimed at social justice and economic empowerment. The corrupt misrule of BRS and BJP has created economic inequalities, and our guarantees bridge that widening gap.”
Kharge stressed the party’s commitment to establishing a safety net for vulnerable and deprived sections of society. He added, “Our dream of ‘Bangaru Telangana’ shall only succeed if we take everyone together.”
The Congress party, in its bid to assume power in Telangana for the first time since the state’s formation in 2014, has unveiled these six guarantees.
