Hyderabad, August 26, 2023: The political landscape in Telangana is witnessing heightened activity as the December 2023 state assembly elections draw near. Amidst this backdrop, the Congress party is witnessing increased mobilization. Aamer Javeed, a prominent Congress youth leader, manifested his intent to contest the elections from the Jubilee Hills assembly constituency. Today, at the party office, he presented his candidacy application, flanked by fellow party workers.
Simultaneously, Congress leader Osman Al Hajri submitted his candidacy application for the Karwan assembly constituency
Speaking to the media, Aamer Javeed emphasized the intrinsic link between “BRS and BJP as essentially two sides of the same coin.” Expanding on this, he shed light on Rahul Gandhi’s unwavering dedication. Javeed commended Gandhi’s commitment to fostering harmony, forecasting the realization of Gandhi’s metaphorical vision of the ‘shop of love.’ Drawing parallels with the successful narrative in Karnataka, where unity triumphed over discord in support of Congress, Javeed foresaw a similar storyline unfolding in Telangana. He envisioned the unity of diverse religious communities in the state, collectively opposing animosity and actively contributing to Congress’s forthcoming triumph.
Addressing the media, Osman Al Hajri highlighted Congress’s pivotal role in establishing a distinctive identity for Telangana. He drew attention to the consistent pattern of misleading promises by KCR over the past decade, resulting in unmet expectations. Al Hajri expressed a growing optimism, asserting that the people of Telangana are now primed to collectively voice their stance against the KCR-led government through the power of their votes. He confidently predicted that this sentiment will ultimately lead to Congress’s success.
