Hyderabad :- In a strategic move, Telangana Chief Minister and Congress leader A. Revanth Reddy has set an ambitious goal for his party, urging its leaders to target victory in at least 12 out of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in the state during the forthcoming elections.

During a crucial meeting with in-charge ministers representing five key districts—Adilabad, Nizamabad, Medak, Mahabubnagar, and Hyderabad—Revanth Reddy emphasized the need for a rigorous campaign to surpass the party’s performance in the recent Assembly elections.

The Chief Minister disclosed his plans to embark on district visits post-January 26, initiating the public discourse with a significant rally at Indravelli in Adilabad district. Reminiscing about his inaugural public address as the state chief in Indravelli, he urged Congress leaders in Adilabad to facilitate the foundation stone-laying ceremony for a memorial park at the martyrs’ memorial in the region. Reddy assured that families of martyrs would receive comprehensive assistance after identification.

Addressing the development agenda, Revanth Reddy delegated the responsibility of Assembly constituency progress to in-charge ministers from undivided districts. He underscored the active involvement of party leaders in welfare and developmental initiatives.

In a departure from his predecessor’s approach, the Chief Minister affirmed his accessibility to MLAs starting January 26. Reddy announced specific hours—between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., three days a week—at the State Secretariat for meetings with MLAs, signaling a commitment to strengthened party cohesion and governance.

As the political landscape in Telangana intensifies, the Congress party, under the leadership of Revanth Reddy, is positioning itself for a formidable presence in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
