Hyderabad, August, 21,2023: Telangana Chief Minister and BRS president, K Chandrashekhar Rao, revealed the highly anticipated list of BRS candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections.

Notably, CM Rao himself will be vying for seats in both Kamareddy and Gajwel constituencies. The list features seven strategic changes, impacting candidate placements in constituencies like Boath, Khanapur, Wyra, Korutla, Uppal, Asifabad, and Metpally.

While nominations for Nampally, Narsapur, Gosha mahal, and Jangaon remain pending, their candidates will be announced subsequently.

A few standout changes include the selection of Paidi Kaushik Reddy as the contender for Huzurabad, and the decision to field the late G Sayanna’s daughter, L Nanditha, for the Secunderabad Cantonment seat, which was formerly held by her father. Additionally, the Vemulawada constituency will see Chalmeda Lakshmi Narasimha Rao replacing Chennamaneni Ramesh, whose citizenship issue is currently under legal scrutiny.
