“Donating blood is a noble act that saves lives and strengthens our community.”
Hyderabad :- Ghulam Ahmed College of Education organized a Blood Donation Camp on 14th June 2024 to mark ‘World Blood Donor Day’. The event was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Zafar Javeed, the Hon. Secretary of Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society. The United Nations-India collaborated with the college, alongside Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad.
Mrs. Farhana Khan, the UN Women Designate of Hyderabad, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She presented certificates to the heroes who donated blood, acknowledging their contribution. Vibha Asthana, Director of Ghulam Ahmed College of Education, was also present at the event. Numerous staff members and students participated by donating blood, rallying around the slogan, “Blood owners should be blood donors”.
