Hyderabad :- Pallavi Prashanth, the victor of ‘Bigg Boss Telugu’ season 7, found himself on the wrong side of the law as he was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the violent incidents that unfolded in Hyderabad on Sunday night post his reality show win, according to police sources. The arrest also included Prashanth’s brother, Mahaveer, both apprehended from their residence in Kolgur village in Gajwel mandal in Siddipet district.

The duo was taken to Jubilee Hills police station in Hyderabad, where charges were filed related to the tumultuous events near Annapurna Studio on the night of December 16. The chaos ensued when fans of the Bigg Boss finalists erupted into violence, chanting slogans and vandalizing vehicles, including those of the participants.

Notably, six Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) buses, a police vehicle, and private cars suffered damage during the unrest. Amardeep Chowdary, the runner-up, had his car damaged, though he managed to escape unharmed. To control the situation, the police had to resort to force.

Cases were registered against Prashanth and his followers for organizing a rally despite warnings. Another set of charges were filed for the damages inflicted on six RTC buses and three private vehicles. The announcement of Prashanth’s victory triggered celebrations among his supporters, leading to clashes with Amardeep’s followers who protested the verdict, resulting in a confrontation between the two groups.
