According to Sky News host James Macpherson, this commitment represents an “escalation” following the well-known protest at the Sydney Theatre Company.
A collective of 3,200 artists has penned an open letter addressed to Anthony Albanese, urging their fellow performers and colleagues to join in by “wearing Palestinian scarves” during their upcoming performances on Tuesday. The letter encourages individuals to adorn themselves with keffiyehs, lapel pins, or Palestinian solidarity shirts wherever they work.
The powerful statement concludes with the phrase “From the River to the Sea. Always was always will be,” signifying a resolute commitment to the cause.
