Hyderabad : Ananthagiri Hills, the enchanting retreat nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes, is gearing up for an exciting eco-tourism transformation. Recognized for its serene nature, ancient temples, cascading waterfalls, and adventurous treks, this hill station has captured the hearts of tourists for years. Now, the Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) is orchestrating a plan to elevate it into a premier eco-tourism hotspot.
TSTDC has identified approximately 15 acres of vacant land in Ananthagiri Hills, Vikarabad, to establish a luxurious, eco-friendly accommodation facility. The vision is to create a space where visitors can revel in the lap of nature while enjoying modern amenities.
The corporation is in the process of selecting a capable entity through a competitive bidding process. The chosen entity will be responsible for designing, operating, and maintaining the eco-friendly accommodation. The facility will boast 50 or more luxurious eco-friendly tents, bubble dome tents, modern capsules, glamping pods, or wooden cottages, all meeting the 3-star or equivalent category standards.
Moreover, the eco-tourism venture will feature a restaurant with a minimum seating capacity for 100 patrons, a spacious banquet hall capable of hosting up to 500 guests in a tensile structure, and a plethora of adventurous activities. Enthusiasts can anticipate engaging in activities such as hot air ballooning, paragliding, paramotor gliding, zip-lining, net walks, tree walks, bungee jumping, trampolining, rope cycling, and much more.
