Hyderabad : India’s Home Minister, Amit Shah, addressed BJP’s election rallies in Jangaon and Korutla, condemning the KCR government for allegedly succumbing to pressure from MIM and neglecting to celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day. Shah asserted that if BJP comes to power in Telangana, September 17 will be officially commemorated as Hyderabad Liberation Day every year.

During the rallies, Amit Shah paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives battling Razakars at Bairanpally village. He declared that if BJP secures victory, the Bairanpally massacre on August 27 will be remembered annually as ‘Razakar Horrors’ Remembrance Day, and a memorial will be erected at Bairanpally to honor the martyrs.

Accusing the KCR government of being the most corrupt in the country, Shah pledged to investigate all scams and imprison the perpetrators once BJP assumes power. He alleged that numerous scams occurred in the state during BRS rule.

Amit Shah criticized what he called minority appeasement by the KCR government, promising that if BJP takes control, the four percent reservation for Muslims will be abolished, and the reservation for BCs, SCs, and STs will be increased. Shah emphasized the significance of the upcoming election in shaping the future of Telangana and the nation for the next five years, claiming that KCR failed to fulfill his promises.

Highlighting BJP’s commitment to empowering backward classes, Shah assured that a chief minister from the backward classes would be appointed if BJP comes to power. He also pledged justice to the Madigas by providing them with a vertical quota. Shah targeted BRS, MIM, and Congress, labeling them as 2G, 3G, and 4G parties, respectively. He claimed that BJP represents the people of Telangana and asserted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has gained respect globally. Shah cited hosting the G20 conference, the construction of the new Parliament, and the Chandrayan mission as instances of India’s progress and pride.
