Hyderabad : In a sweeping restructuring of the state’s administrative and law enforcement apparatus, the Telangana government has announced the transfer of 11 IAS and 9 IPS officers. The reshuffle includes prominent figures such as Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar, Principal Secretaries B Venkatesham, and A Vani Prasad.

IAS Officer Transfers:

  1. Arvind Kumar
  • Former Role: Special Chief Secretary to Government, Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA, Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration.
  • New Role: Special Chief Secretary, Revenue (Disaster Management).
  1. B Venkatesham
  • Former Role: Principal Secretary and Commissioner (BC Welfare).
  • New Role: Principal Secretary (Education).
  1. A Vani Prasad
  • Former Role: Principal Secretary, Transport Department.
  • New Role: Principal Secretary, Environment, Forests, Science and Technology.
  1. M Dana Kishore
  • Former Role: Managing Director, HMWSSB.
  • New Role: Principal Secretary, Department of Municipal Administration and Urban Development.
  1. K S Sreenivas Raju
  • Former Role: Secretary to Government, Roads & Buildings Department.
  • New Role: Secretary, Transport, Roads and Buildings Department.

  • Former Role: Secretary to Chief Minister.

  • Former Role: Commissioner, Commercial Taxes.
  • New Role: Secretary, Health and Medical and Family Welfare Department.
  1. Dr T K Sreedevi
  • Former Role: Secretary, Finance.
  • New Role: Commissioner, Commercial Taxes.

IPS Officer Transfers:

The State government also executed the transfer of 9 IPS officers, including DCP (west) Joel Davis and Siddipet SP, N Swetha. The reshuffle includes key appointments such as P Vishwa Prasad as Additional CP (Traffic) and AV Ranganath as Joint Commissioner of Police Detective Department Hyderabad.
