Khammam: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka declared that the Congress-led government in Telangana has already fulfilled two of its six guarantees within two days of taking office. Assuring that all six guarantees will be met within 100 days, Vikramarka, along with ministers Tummala Nageswar Rao and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, received a warm welcome from supporters in Khammam. Vikramarka, handling the finance portfolio, emphasized wealth creation and equitable distribution as the government’s core agenda for the well-being and development of the people. The Congress leader highlighted recent measures such as free RTC bus travel for women and an increased medical expenses limit under the Rajiv Arogyasri scheme to Rs 10 lakh. Vikramarka also pledged prompt attention to housing and podu land issues while criticizing the BRS regime for delays in house site distribution ordered by the Supreme Court. He thanked Khammam residents for Congress’ success in nine out of 10 constituencies in the district.
