Hyderabad : In a concerning incident, Madhuranagar police have filed a case against a Congress worker, Manoj Yadav, for allegedly threatening to remove loudspeakers from mosques in his locality.

The accused, identified as Manoj Yadav, a local Congress worker, engaged in a dispute with a man named Muneer while traveling on a two-wheeler in Yellareddyguda. Manoj reportedly asked Muneer to move his parked car, accusing him of being a ‘BRS agent’ and claimed knowledge of his voting choices.

During the argument, Manoj allegedly threatened to remove the loudspeakers from mosques in the Imamguda and Kapthanguda localities of Maheswaram. He further warned that the Congress would come to power on December 3, insinuating that he would act on his threats, as stated in the FIR.

The Madhuranagar police have booked Manoj Kumar under Section 153A, 295A, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Ongoing investigations are in progress to delve deeper into the incident.

The situation escalated, leading to mild tension in the area as members of the Muslim community gathered in response to the disturbance caused by Manoj Yadav. Police intervention became necessary, resulting in the dispersal of the crowd through lathi-charge. Authorities are closely monitoring the developments in this case.
