Southern Germany experienced a deluge of heavy snowfall, leading to significant disruptions at Munich Airport, the country’s second-busiest hub.

A staggering 320 out of the scheduled 760 flights for Saturday have been canceled, according to reports from the German DPA news agency.

The Bavarian capital found itself blanketed in heavy snow, projections of 30-40 centimeters (roughly 12-15 inches) of snow in certain areas, a significant portion is anticipated to accumulate within a 12-hour window overnight into Saturday.
