Hyderabad : In a recent development, the Ibrahimpatnam police apprehended three engineering students on Tuesday for their alleged possession of ganja. The arrest took place during a vehicle inspection, during which the police discovered one and a half kilograms of the contraband.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Bobby, Dhanush, and Vamshi, all of whom are in their final year of pursuing a B.Tech degree at different engineering colleges located in Ibrahimpatnam. The students were caught attempting to flee the scene during the routine vehicle check, as reported by Ibrahimpatnam Sub Inspector Sk. Mybelly.
Investigations have revealed that the trio had procured the ganja at a reduced price from known sources and purportedly intended to sell it at a higher value to generate profits. The incident underscores the need for vigilant law enforcement in combating drug-related issues in the region.
