“Remember that the Indian government had recently sent aid to save the lives of the people of Palestine.”

In a distressing incident, a Muslim man named Irshad Mohammad was brutally lynched in the Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Police took swift action, arresting two individuals in connection with the incident.

The fatal confrontation occurred after Irshad Mohammad’s motorbike collided with a member of a group participating in Dussehra festivities near Luhari village. This unfortunate accident escalated into a heated argument, leading the group to violently assault Irshad Mohammad with a stone.

During the attack, another man, identified as Wasim, bravely attempted to intervene to protect Irshad Mohammad and, as a result, sustained injuries himself, according to the police.

Irshad Mohammad was urgently transported to a hospital, where medical professionals pronounced him dead. The grief-stricken father of the victim, Imamuddin Mohammed, lodged a formal complaint, prompting the police to file a First Information Report (FIR) against six individuals. The FIR cites charges under Section 302 (murder) and 148 (rioting armed with deadly weapons) of the Indian Penal Code.

To maintain law and order and prevent any further violence, personnel from the Provincial Armed Constabulary have been deployed in the village following the incident, as confirmed by Additional Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar. Law enforcement remains actively engaged in their pursuit of four additional suspects involved in this tragic event.
