
Hyderabad : A BRS worker is now facing legal consequences after a viral video exposed his violent assault on a man, inflicting severe bleeding injuries. The victim is reported to have served as a former personal assistant (PA) to Jubilee Hills BRS MLA, Maganti Gopinath, although the police have refuted this connection.
The distressing incident was captured in a video that rapidly spread across social media platforms, depicting the bleeding victim desperately pleading for mercy. Shockingly, the assailant, identified as Bhaskar, continued his relentless assault while others in the vicinity joined in, subjecting the victim to further physical harm.
Taking immediate action, the police initiated a suo motu case under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), categorizing the incident as ‘attempt to murder.’ An intensive investigation is now underway to unearth the truth behind this disturbing incident.
According to the authorities, the attack transpired in the vicinity of Yousufguda, leading to the detention of Bhaskar and two additional individuals involved in the incident.
Meanwhile, the injured victim has been transported to Gandhi Hospital, where he is presently receiving medical treatment.
