
As the Israel-Hamas conflict enters its fourth day, the United Nations has issued a strong condemnation of the total siege of Gaza. Tensions continue to escalate in the region, with world leaders and international organizations expressing deep concern.
Leaders from numerous Western nations, including Britain and Germany, have denounced the attacks launched by Hamas. Meanwhile, Arab nations have called for an immediate cessation of hostilities on both sides, emphasizing the urgent need for a peaceful resolution.
The Israeli military’s spokesperson announced on Tuesday that they have successfully regained control of the Gaza border. In response to repeated air raids on the Palestinian enclave, the Israeli forces have initiated the planting of mines in areas where Hamas militants had previously breached the barrier.
Israeli television channels reported a significant loss of life during a weekend assault by Hamas. They claimed that Hamas fighters killed approximately 900 people, including 260 at a desert music festival. In stark contrast, Gaza’s Health Ministry reported a Palestinian death toll of 687 as a result of retaliatory strikes.
