Hyderabad : Panic struck the residents of Khairatabad Chintal Basthi when an unexpected guest emerged from a nearby drainage canal on Wednesday evening.
A juvenile crocodile, measuring approximately three feet in length, made an appearance near a canal in Chintal Basthi, leaving local children astonished. The youngsters promptly informed their community elders, who wasted no time in spreading the word.
Upon receiving the report, local law enforcement swiftly dispatched a team to the scene, and they promptly notified the forest department authorities.
In response, an anti-poaching squad from the forest department hurried to the location with the mission of capturing the crocodile and relocating it to the zoo park. To maintain safety, the police cordoned off the area, preventing curious onlookers from approaching the scene.
