The State Awards for Best Teachers 2023 are a small token of our gratitude for their invaluable contributions to our society.” Education Minister.
In a notable acknowledgment of their exemplary contributions, the Telangana State government has handpicked 54 teachers from diverse schools to receive the prestigious State Awards for Best Teachers in 2023.
This recognition comes after the School Education department meticulously reviewed a total of 97 proposals. Among the honorees are 10 headmasters, 20 School Assistants, PGTs, TGTs, and teachers representing various categories working in high schools. Additionally, 11 SGTs, one lecturer from a government district institute of education and training, and 12 teachers under the special category have been selected for this esteemed award. An official order to this effect has been issued by the department.
The selection process involved rigorous scrutiny by the state selection committee, which conducted a comprehensive re-verification of the information, facts, and remarks presented in the nominations received from all districts.
The grand awards ceremony is slated to take place on September 5, coinciding with the celebration of Teachers’ Day, at the esteemed venue of Ravindra Bharathi. All awardee teachers are requested to assemble at Dr. MCR HRDI Hyderabad for a special interaction program with Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy on September 4, commencing at 5 pm. This occasion promises to be a momentous event, celebrating the dedication and excellence demonstrated by these outstanding educators.
