In a remarkable display of quick thinking and bravery, Assistant Commissioner of Police (North) P Madhusudhan Rao, an officer with the Hyderabad Traffic Police, sprang into action to rescue a man facing a life-threatening cardiac arrest. The incident unfolded on a Wednesday near the Hyderabad Public School in Begumpet.
Rao was present at the location when he noticed a man collapse on the road, struggling for breath. Without hesitation, he administered Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to the individual, effectively reviving him and preventing further harm.
Recognizing the severity of the situation, Rao then coordinated the swift arrival of an ambulance. The man was promptly transferred to Gandhi Hospital, where he could receive the necessary medical attention and treatment.
Local bystanders, deeply impressed by the timely and heroic intervention by the traffic police official, showered him with applause for his life-saving actions. This incident serves as a powerful reminder of the vital role that first responders play in critical situations.
