Hyderabad’s Shamshabad International Airport was plunged into chaos when an unidentified individual sent a menacing email to the control room, asserting the presence of a bomb primed to detonate at 7 pm. Swiftly reacting to the threat, the bomb squad, dog unit, and CISF local police were mobilized for a comprehensive sweep of the airport premises. The intense search yielded relief, confirming the absence of any explosive device.
However, a subsequent twist emerged as a fresh email arrived in the airport’s inbox, originating from a different address. In this communication, the sender revealed a startling truth: the initial threat was an unintended consequence of their child’s inadvertent actions, as the child had sent the alarming message while toying with the phone. Expressing remorse, the sender earnestly sought forgiveness for the turmoil caused.
Airport authorities promptly escalated the matter by filing an official complaint with the local police, resulting in the registration of a case. An ongoing investigation is actively underway to ascertain the individual behind the distressing emails, shedding light on their motives and intent.
