
Nirmal , August 27,2023 : A devastating accident unfolded on Sunday when a speeding lorry collided with a tipper lorry engaged in road repair between Burgupalli and Mondigutta villages in Mamada mandal. The collision resulted in the loss of three lives.
According to Soan Inspector Naveen Kumar, the victims have been identified as Kumram Rajendra Prasad (31), a daily wage laborer from Chincholi in Neradigonda mandal; P Lal Singh (43), the tipper lorry driver from Poshamthanda in Neradigonda; and Shaik Qasim Peera (43), the cleaner of a lorry hailing from Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
Tragedy struck swiftly as Rajendra Prasad and Lal Singh lost their lives on the spot, succumbing to the force of impact when the lorry collided with the tipper. Qasim, who suffered severe injuries, fought for his life but tragically passed away while receiving treatment at a hospital in Nirmal.
Following a complaint lodged by a family member of one of the victims, a case has been registered against the lorry driver responsible for the incident. As investigations unfold, this heart-wrenching accident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of road safety and vigilance
