
Hyderabad, September 9: In preparation for the Ganesh idol immersion processions, the Hyderabad Traffic Police have released a travel advisory for routes surrounding Necklace Road (P.V.N. Marg). The advisory will be in effect from Tuesday, September 10, to Monday, September 16. Traffic diversions will be enforced daily from 3 pm until midnight based on traffic conditions.
Here are the key traffic diversion points to note during this period:
- Sailing Club ‘T’ Junction: Vehicles coming from Karbala Maidan will not be allowed towards Upper Tankbund and will be diverted at the Sailing Club towards Kavadiguda Cross Roads. Travelers heading to Liberty or Khairtabad should use alternate routes via DBR Mills, Banda Maisamma, and Ambedkar Statue.
- VV Statue: Traffic from Panjagutta and Raj Bhavan moving towards NTR Marg or Necklace Road will be diverted towards Shadan College and Lakdi Ka Pool, bypassing the Khairtabad Flyover.
- Telugu Thalli Junction: Traffic from Ambedkar Statue will be redirected at Telugu Thalli Junction towards Iqbal Minar instead of NTR Marg.
- Telugu Thalli Flyover: Vehicles traveling from Iqbal Minar towards Secunderabad will be diverted onto the Telugu Thalli Flyover, bypassing Tankbund.
- DBR Mills: Traffic from Katta Maisamma Temple via Dobhi Ghat will be redirected towards DBR Mills instead of Children’s Park.
- Kavadiguda X Road: Traffic from Musheerabad and Jabbar Complex heading to the Sailing Club will be diverted at Kavadiguda X Road towards DBR Mills.
- Nallagutta Bridge: Vehicles from Minister Road will be redirected at Nallagutta Bridge towards Karbala, avoiding Necklace Road.
- Nallagutta: General traffic from Buddha Bhavan will be diverted at Nallagutta Bridge towards Minister Road, bypassing Necklace Road.
